“ Fantastic food, big portions so come with a big appetite. Great staff and service. Would definitely recommended. Was in town for business for 4 days and ate there twice. Would have went 4 for 4 but I was working to late. Go there! ”
“ I use to meet my husband here for years . Last year I went for my bday with about 20 people upstairs the waiter wasn’t so nice so I stopped going. I went last night I wanted the hot stone and we ate downstairs it’s was almost 9 pm on Mother’s Day and the service was excellent they work as a team the crab cakes was the best in NJ , the steak and lobster ravioli was so good and even the empanadas were good . I like downstairs I’ve been upstairs a couple of times and always they seem like they don’t want to be bothered it’s almost like you doing them a favor . You would think it’s two different owners . Good food good vibes and good service downstairs . The only thing beware the floor is always slippery . ”

“ Talk about expectations being blown away, in a good way. My wife and I had an overnight at the Newark Airport and we were looking for something close to the airport hotel we were staying at in this place popped up because we were feeling like Portuguese food. This restaurant was so much more than that it was a seafood heaven it was a beef lover's Secret. The building was beautiful on the outside as well as inside with tables appropriately set in linen and the staff was everywhere and so professional and kind they really made us feel at home. The price is looked pretty reasonable I mean nothing off the chart however I knew I was in trouble when my appetizer came and grilled shrimp and sausages Moroccan Style. My wife and I could have shared the portion and gone home it was huge and delicious the best I've ever had. When the mains came in we just looked at each other and had we not been strong as we are we would have cried there was enough food on those two plates to feed 10 people. We literally just picked out the seafood and left the other stuff alone because it was incredible sized portions. It was so delicious we overatebecause we were at a hotel we couldn't take it home I even asked him if they could give it to a shelter or something but that's apparently not a thing anymore. If you're around the airport or in Elizabeth New Jersey you have to put this place on your list tell him I sent you and they'll have no idea who I am. ”
“ I came to NJ for a weekend getaway and doing search for good restaurants around my hotel Valenca was one of the top rated. 4.5 stars are not real, this restaurant need 4.9 at least. The food is fantastic, the place was packed and the staff was very friendly. From the beginning the complementary olives with hot olive oil sauce and bread, fantastic. I ordered the grilled Octupus and the T-bone steak perfectly cooked and the rice and chips as side was the best. It was a really good culinary experience I like to recommend to all when visit Elizabeth / Newark. ”
